Getting work and being included

My name is Peter.

I work at Reiver Industries and I enjoy it a lot. Reiver is a workshop and the people there are disabled. I've worked there for 10 years. I work there every day, Monday to Friday.

The things I like are the atmosphere and the friendships. Everyone gets on together.

I like to keep myself busy. I've done different jobs. You can't get me out of the job I'm doing now. I'm always asking for more to do.

I also like being on Reception. When anyone visits us,I'm the person who looks after them and shows them where they need to go. That's a big responsibility.

I like being at work on time. One of the people I share a house with also works, but not at Reiver. The support workers we have are very good. The staff are always there to help us get to work on time. They come in the early morning and around tea time, which is when we need them.

Monday is my favourite day of the week.
