Achieving Fair Access - Improving NHS services for disabled people
This guidance has been written to help NHS staff implement Part 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act, which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people in accessing goods, facilities, services and premises.
Fair for All – Disability was established as a strategic partnership between the Scottish Executive Health Department and the Disability Rights Commission. The initiative was funded by the Scottish Executive Health Department for 3 years to support NHS Boards implement disability equality.
